Anime: Cardcaptor Sakura Specials and Leave it to Kero-Chan

It’s been awhile since I’ve watched cardcaptor sakura, but it’s a series that will always have a special place in my heart. It was one of my first few series…so…what can I say?

The specials were a good way for me to get back into that world…they were really short though! only 5 mins long…and mostly was about tomoyo and her obsession with sakura…making vidoes of course! The first i think was the cutest, with tomoyo making the opening sequence for the actual anime. The 2nd dealt with Eriol…and greedy Kero and the last was with the usual gang and some eye-opening moments. :)

I can’t place them within the anime storyline…it’s been too long for that, but they can be watched separately and are enjoyable in their own right. Art, animation and music hasn’t changed much, and I guess it just plays on the characters’ characters! :) not a bad watch, especially since they’re so short!

The second one was a movie special. so it’s after the 2nd movie and kero and spinel were eating takoyaki and the events that ensued. it’s funny, hilarious and although it only concentrates on kero and spinel, the ending was still sweet. :) so hurray for that! it was really short though! only 9 mins? but funny none the less, loved spinel in it! :) hehe.

I kinda wish there was more cardcaptor sakura…even though it is a kiddy show. and I know there’s tsubasa chronicles, but it just isn’t the same! :( sigh. Why do animes have to end?
